What I think!
I haven't gotten any proper blogging software set up yet, so this is just a temporary means of getting the words on the internet. Things will likely change, so keep an eye on this space!

My First Video!

I'm practicing Bach. See what's happening so far!
Gigue Fugue, by J.S. Bach
From the video info I posted on Youtube:
I'm learning to play the organ. This is one of my practice pieces, and I don't have it all down yet, and make a lot of mistakes on the part I can play, but it's coming along!
Also, this is on a really badly-designed digital organ which I wouldn't mind seeing anywhere else but at my church! It has lot of problems, which limit how I play and make it more difficult. But you work with what you have! (I'd really prefer a genuine pipe organ! One can only dream...)
Electronic music!

This is true electronic music. This guy is driving a Tesla coil with a keyboard.
Update!

Wow, looks like I have been neglecting this a bit! So what's new?
I have recently taken up residence in Second Life, where I'm known by the name of Corax Homewood. And of course I just had to get a raven avatar!
You can see snapshots that I've taken by visiting Snapzilla. Please bear in mind that Snapzilla is a public picture posting site, and as such may contain material which I do not approve of. So, as with all external sites I link to, be careful if you visit any pages besides my own!Jimmy DeYoung legitimizes Muslim Suicide Bombers?
Posted on January 28, 2007 at 12:30 PM EST
In his daily radio program, Prophecy Today, Jimmy DeYoung appears to legitimize Islamic terrorists who kill innocent people and call themselves martyrs. He compares them with Christians who die for their faith.
Does this strike anybody besides myself as odd?
Bill Clinton and the Mars Rock

Not new news by any means, but I just happened to stumble across a page about meteorites which has a note about the famous Mars rock.I don't know about you, Mr. President, but I think I'll stick with a few thousand years and planet Earth which God has given us to take care of. Needless speculation and "oppositions of science falsely so called" 1 do us no good, especially when they contradict the Bible!
Here's a good article to read after reading what our former president has said: Bye-bye Martians

Fixed!

The webserver has finally been fixed, as of January 6th. (Yes, I know I'm late in blogging it, but my excuse is I forgot. :P)
You can see my page now at 30below.com. But why bother? You can also see it here!
Up, but still not going.

I see that Iceberg Computers has finally gotten their webserver back in somewhat-normal operation. Yet I still cannot access it to upload my website. What could be taking them so long?
Not only that, but it seems they had no backups... shame shame shame!
Thought this interesting...

Hydrogen economy? Think again.
Posted on December 14, 2006 at 4:39 AM EST
You hear a lot about the coming “hydrogen economy” these days. We’re supposed to eventually be using hydrogen-powered cars, for instance. One thing though which you don’t hear very often is the question: Where will all the hydrogen come from? Lisa Zyga considers this issue over at physorg.com.
Ancient Music

It seems the organ has been around for a long time! Often I have read of the water organ invented by a Roman over 2200 years ago, but this page suggests there is perhaps an even longer history for this magnificent instrument.
Ah, those silly birds!

Response to an atheist
Posted on August 6, 2006 at 8:32 EDT
I just wrote a response to an atheist at their blog. I'm hoping this response will show up there! If not, though, here it is:
Update! It did show up!
Hello, friend! Yes, I'm one of those evangelical Christians you don't understand. Obviously someone must have "forced religion down your throat" and you're out for revenge. Yet they must not have been successful, for doesn't appear to have stuck.
I find it interesting that you profess a belief which is totally negative, and you wish to spread a negative message. What are you? You're NOT a Christian. What do you believe? NOT what Christians believe. Does this extend to things like "Do not steal, do not murder, honor your father and mother"? You still haven't said what you DO believe and what you ARE!
Why do you find Christianity disgusting and annoying? The most likely reason you didn't want to convert others while in your "Cristianity phase" is because you weren't a Christian. You don't understand what's going on when people convert to Christ because you've never been there. You think these people are feeble minded, but look how many great people throughout history were Christians! Were they all feeble minded?
As an atheist, you believe there is NOT a God. Yet all you atheists want to talk about is God! His name is even in your name: Theos, God. If there is no God, why do you spend so much time NOT believing in him? Isn't it rather foolish to spend all your time NOT believing? Why don't you forget about what you DON'T believe, and start talking about what you DO believe?
Correct me if I'm wrong on anything. You say a person who doesn't believe in God believes in personal responsibility for one's own actions. So does a Christian, but the Christian also believes he is responsible before a higher authority than himself. You don't believe there is a higher authority than yourself, so to whom are you responsible? Only to you. So you are free - free to make up your own mind, free to make up your own rules, your own laws. For the atheist, it's every man for himself, and nobody is going to tell you what you can and cannot do. Isn't this anarchy?
I'm a Christian, but I don't bite! Take care!
Ethan
